The Birmingham Alumni Association will hold its annual Founders Day on Saturday, February 11, at 11:30am at the Inverness Country Club. As usual, guests are welcome and encouraged. Our featured speaker will be Dr. Tim Hebson, Associate Dean of Students and Director of Judicial Affairs at The University of Alabama. We are also inviting the Alabama Alpha and Alabama Beta Chapters to join us at this event.
The cost is $30.00 per person and $25.00 for students. Checks must be made payable to the Alabama Alpha House Corporation. Please send your payment to the following address by February 8, 2006:

Dear Brothers,
As we approach the end of the year, it has been a successful 2005 for Alabama Alpha. The chapter closes out the year with a roster of 40 active brothers as they head into spring rush. And there is more.
You have much of which to be proud. None of this can happen without a strong and generous alumni base. The undergraduates understand this and are grateful for your support. When you visit the house during football season or during another event and spend time talking with our student brothers, you enrich their fraternity experience.
It has been said that you cannot stand still for long. You either go forward or backward. Phi Kappa Psi at the University of Alabama is going forward.
Phi Psi is all about serving others and sharing. As alumni, we want to share our success with our younger brothers in the chapter. The most basic and long lived component of the alumni support effort is the Sustaining Membership Program or SMP. We ask each alumni brother for $100.00 or more each year on a continuing basis. The response to this request funds much of the continual maintenance and improvements to the chapter property that you are used to. As we approach the end of the year, please consider writing this check today. We cannot go forward without you!
